Focus on BIG FINISHES this month. Say Ta-Da while feet stick like glue where they land. 
*Follow the written descriptions of the videos. We want the same skills being worked on. We're going to continue to add for higher levels as well. Starfish C-follow the Rec Level C lesson plan. If that's too difficult, follow Level B. 

**Always remember to be on outside of the circuit circle so you can keep your eyes on ALL kids in the class. Never turn your back to your class. 

With different shapes of the preschool areas, the order is ok to be changed.


Circuit 1
Equipment Needed
  • Go dot, spring board, spider feet
  • 4 squeaky dots
  • P bars, two blocks under
  • Beam, 6 bulls eye dots 
  • Puzzle piece or hula hoop or one foot mat
  • Log or yellow velcro beam on floor
  • Folded panel mat with block to cartwheel over
  • Bar with slider (no panel mat under if possible)​
Spot Station: Cartwheel/Round Off
Circuit 1 Summary
  • Hands on beam, 2 feet jump side to side from one bullseye to the next
  • Arabesque at puzzle piece or hula hoop or foot mat
  • Hands on log, belly towards wall, walk feet up wall
    • Starfish B can walk sideways along the log. Inverted walks.
  • SPOT Big lunge on panel mat, hands on mat, cartwheel or roundoff so feet land on floor. Big finish. (stay on wall side, have them kick over as you spot the hips.)
  • P-bars, tuck swings over blocks
  • apart-togethers on sqeaky dots
  • Bar-hands on bar, feet on slider and glide out and back
  • Start at go, run, jump once on spring board and stick on spider mat. FINISH!​​

Circuit 2
Equipment Needed
  • Barrel
  • Beam with 3 blocks
  • Cheese
  • Bar
  • floor bar, ring and stuffed animal
  • Rings in SM location
Spot Station: Barrel
Circuit Summary
  • Swing in a tuck or pike from rings. Arms straight. Can hold with flexed arms for Starfish B. "put on earrings" and hold rings by ears,
  • Lay on back in a layout position, straight arms, hold bar. Grab frog with feet, pike legs up and over nose and try to drop on other side of bar.
  • SPOT Back on barrel, hand on belly, rock child back, once hands touch ground, emphasize straight arms, have them bring "toes over nose" and stand up-finish!
  • FORWARD roll down cheese
  • Jump to front support at bar. (make sure mats below are high enough for them to jump) Key words: push down on the bar
  • Walk on beam, grab the block, hold above head, turn around, place block back down and step over it. Repeat with all blocks.
