Equipment Needed
  • ​Go dot and one foot mat
  • Spring board and mat to land on
  • Squeaky dots and puzzle piece
  • Beam with bean bags
  • Barrel
  • Bar with folded mini cheese
  • Velcro strips on floor

 Spot Station: Barrel
Circuit 1 Summary
  • ​​Bunny hop over bean bags, hands on hips
    • ​Minis-take bean bags off beam, bunny hops
  • Spot Barrel-back on barrel, feet over
    • ​WAIT until hands TOUCH floor before they can start to bring toes over nose. This encourages the stretch body and reach for floor
    • ​When you are not by the barrel-stand it up! Do not let children play on it.
  • Hands on bar, feet on mat-chin ups "peek a boo!" ...try for 3 or more
  • Hands and feet on floor beams/strips-walk sideways-into pushup position
  • ​Run-straight jump-land on mat
  • Jump squeaky dot-floor-squeaky dot

  • Beam with french fry
  • Bullseye dot and domino
  • Bar set at lowest setting
  • Rocks and turtle
  • Mini p-bars or parallettes
  • Cheese

Circuit 2 Summary
  • Forward roll down the hill
    • Starfish B-Straddle rolls-finish sitting in straddle-no need to stand to straddle - challenge would be connect a second straddle roll by pushing on the floor between legs and tucking head again for second roll
  • jump on squeaky dots
  • hold french fry and walk across beam
    • Starfish B-tippy toes
  • Lunge on the domino, arms up by ears, handstand
  • Spot pullovers
    • Coach from your knees-hand on lower back lifting child as needed, switch hands to shoulder and back of calves
    • Minis-Chin up and rock back and forth if not going upside down over bar yet
  • Balance on the rocks and turtle
  • P-bars-hold a pike position

**Always remember to be on outside of the circuit circle so you can keep your eyes on ALL kids in the class. Never turn your back to your class. 

With different shapes of the preschool areas, the order is ok to be changed.
